FHWA SHRP2 Train the Trainer TIM Training

On behalf of the FHWA Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Program, we would like to announce that FHWA will be offering three virtual TIM Train-the-Trainer (TtT) sessions:

• Option 19: One-Day East Coast
  • Date:  Thursday, June 6, 2024
  • Time:  8:00 am – 4:30 pm (EDT) [5:00 am – 1:30 pm (PDT)]

As a TIM Training State Point of Contact, we are requesting that you be selective in your distribution of this announcement and provide it only to individuals that are committed to providing training. Individuals will be required to positively respond to the following four questions as part of the application:

• I have prior instructional and TIM experience.
• I commit to providing training to other TIM responders in my area.
• I commit to submitting my training records to the national database.
• I have sought concurrence from my manager/supervisor to participate in the TtT course and to conduct TIM responder training.

The sessions are open to all 50 States, D.C., and Puerto Rico, but to support a positive learning environment, the sessions will be limited to 40 participants.
