SUMMARY:FHWA Train the Trainer
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the FHWA Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Program\, we would like to announce that FHWA will be offering a virtual TIM Train-the-Trainer (TtT) session this month. The session is scheduled for Tuesday\, August 15\, 2023\, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm EDT (5:00 am to 1:30 pm PDT). The attached course announcement provides the session details and a link for applying. \n  \nAs a TIM Training State Point of Contact\, we are requesting that you be selective in your distribution of this announcement and provide it only to individuals that are committed to providing training. Individuals will be required to positively respond to the following four questions as part of the application: \n\nI have prior instructional and TIM experience.\nI commit to providing training to other TIM responders in my area.\nI commit to submitting my training records to the national database.\nI have sought concurrence from my manager/supervisor to participate in the TtT course and to conduct TIM responder training.\n\n  \nThe session is open to all 50 States\, D.C.\, and Puerto Rico\, but to support a positive learning environment\, the session will be limited to 40 participants. \n  \nHere is the link to sign up. \nhttps://fhwatimtraining.wufoo.com/forms/virtual-tim-ttt-course-application/ \n  \nIf you have any questions regarding your participation in this training\, please contact \nthe TIM Training Help Desk at (414) 410-6808 or FHWATIMTraining@hntb.com
